Kyunghoon Kim is an Associate Research Fellow at the Korea Institute for International Economic Policy (KIEP) where he is analysing the political economy and industrial policies of Asia’s developing countries. He holds a PhD in Development Studies – Political Economy from King’s College London and his thesis focused on the role of state-owned entities in economic development. Prior to his PhD, he received a master’s degree from LSE and worked at the Samsung Economic Research Institute (SERI) covering the Association of Southeast Asian Nations (ASEAN) and the European Union (EU) for six years. His recent publications include journal articles in Structural Change & Economic Dynamics, Competition & Change, Journal of Contemporary Asia, and the Pacific Review.

Hun Kim is the Director General of the Sectors, Themes and Finance Solutions Department (STF) and is responsible for developing the technical excellence of the Bank’s investment operations and expanding the Bank’s operational knowledge across all sectors and cross-cutting themes, such as climate and nature, regional cooperation, private capital mobilization, and digital technology solutions in support of both sovereign and non-sovereign investment operations. Under his leadership, STF performs a proactive and strategic role in shaping the direction and impact of AIIB’s investment operations. The department takes the lead in introducing and operationalizing new products and financing modalities, and carrying out upstream work to cultivate institutional expertise, supports and incubates new initiatives and emerging technologies, provides advisory services for public-private partnerships, and promotes growth in other productive sectors. Previous to his appointment, Kim played a pivotal role in building AIIB’s social infrastructure portfolio from the ground up. Kim is a seasoned development professional who has built his skills and expertise throughout his long and successful career in the Asian Development Bank (ADB) where he has held various leadership positions, the last of which was Director General, South Asia Department. Prior to that, he was ADB’s Country Director in India Country Office. He holds a Ph.D. in Applied Economics from the University of Minnesota, USA and an MA and BA in Economics from Yonsei University, Republic of Korea. Kim is from the Republic of Korea.
Fridah Kimani is an experienced Customs official with over 17 year’s local and international experience. She currently works at the Kenya Revenue Authority and deals with interpretation of Customs Tax Law in relation to tariff classification and Customs valuation. She worked for the World Customs Organization (Finland Funded project) as a Regional Expert, Trade Facilitation for East and Southern Africa. Her responsibilities included overseeing implementation of project activities, conducting scoping, diagnostic as well as capacity building workshops.
Fridah is accredited by the World Customs Organisation (WCO) as a Customs Valuation trainer and also as a Technical and Operational Advisor (Revenue Package). She is a part time trainer for the Kenya School of Revenue Administration (KESRA) and has been a tutor for the 6th and 17th sessions of the WCO, Virtual Customs Orientation Academy (VCOA). She is also a mentor for the 2023 African Tax Administration Forum (ATAF) Women in Tax Mentorship Program.

Aisha A. King is one of the trustees and founders of Trekvoy Art & Literary Endowment for the Naturally Talented (T.A.L.E.N.T.), a charity established in 2011. She also functions as their Animation Production and Project Manager, leading their Animation Team. After working in Emergency Management and Off-shore Banking, she created The Zana Series, a publication which highlights the need to care for our environment aimed at primary school level learners.

Katiuska King es Doctora en Estudios sobre Desarrollo por la Universidad del País Vasco y Docente-Investigadora en la Universidad Central del Ecuador. Anteriormente, se desempeñó como Ministra de Política Económica de Ecuador entre abril de 2010 y octubre de 2011, así como Subsecretaria de Seguimiento y Evaluación en la Secretaría Nacional de Planificación y Desarrollo de 2007 a 2010. En la actualidad, ejerce como directora del Observatorio Financiero y ha dirigido el proyecto de investigación "Financiamiento para el Desarrollo en Ecuador.

Professor Kelly Mua Kingsley is Cameroon's Representative to the UNDP–EU Debt Resilience and Sustainable Finance Platform, Director of Financial Operations at the Ministry of Finance, and Board Chair of the African Trade and Investment Development Insurance (ATIDI). A global thought leader in public finance and sustainable development, he champions ESG, biodiversity, and human capital metrics for inclusion in national reporting systems. Professor Kingsley has been instrumental in aligning Cameroon's financial architecture with IFRS S1/S2 and UNCTAD standards, shaping Africa's sustainability narrative at the intersection of governance, innovation, and credible state signature.

Hon. Lee Kinyanjui is the Cabinet Secretary for Investments, Trade and Industry of the Republic of Kenya.
He is the co-chairperson of the Economic Partnership Agreement (EPA) Council of Kenya and the European Union.
Previously, he served as the Governor of Nakuru County from 2017 to 2022. During his tenure, he oversaw the elevation of Nakuru Municipality to city status and was named the most business-friendly governor in Africa by the African Leadership Magazine. He also chaired the Lands, Planning, Urban Development and Infrastructure Committee, as well as the Energy Committee at Kenya's Council of Governors.
Hon. Kinyanjui served as the Member of Parliament for Nakuru Town (2007-2012) and as the Assistant Minister for Roads during the same period.
