Mr. Pedro Manuel Moreno of Spain, is Deputy Secretary-General of UNCTAD.
He has over 20 years of experience of working for multilateral and intergovernmental organizations in programme, management and strategic positions both in the field and at headquarters.
He was Deputy Secretary-General of the Communication for Development Committee at the Spanish National Commission with the United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization (1999-2004), and for the United Nations Development Programme, at the Country Office in Ecuador and, in New York City, as part of the Human Development Report team, at the Regional Bureau for Latin America and the Caribbean and at the Executive Office.
In 2014, he was appointed Chief of Staff of the Ibero-American Conference in Madrid, where he coordinated key political processes and South-South cooperation projects.
In September 2021, he was named Chief of Staff and Director of the Office of the Secretary-General of UNCTAD.

Sandra has studied Biodynamic Agriculture in Spain, Development Studies in Geneva (IUED) and Architecture and Urbanism in Bogota (National University of Colombia). She is a visiting scholar of the International Law Associates Program (Apintlaw) in Indonesia. Between 2013 and 2017, she represented La Via Campesina at UN negotiations on the Declaration on the Rights of Peasants and Other People Working in Rural Areas (UNDROP) at the Human Rights Council.
She has addressed several international seminars on the UNDROP process and the rights of women in rural areas and has written a number of articles on relevant issues. She's a member of the Alpujarra Agroecological Network, and her expertise lies on feminist economy and SSE, gender/rural women rights and food sovereignty. Since 2023, she works as Executive Secretary of RIPESS Intercontinental.

Ms. Delphine Moretti is Lead of the Organization for Economic Cooperation and Development (OECD) Working Party on Public Financial Management and Reporting. As part of her functions, she works closely with OECD countries on developing innovative practices in PFM. She oversees the OECD's research work programme on fiscal risks management and digitalisation of public financial management.
Prior to this, Ms. Moretti served in the International Monetary Fund (IMF), where she held positions in headquarters and Southeast Asia. Ms. Moretti also previously held positions in the Ministry of Finance in France.

Elisa specializes in international biodiversity law and its linkages with human rights, notably the rights of indigenous peoples and small-scale fishers, everyone’s right to health and science, and business responsibility to respect human rights.
The Hub is a global inter-disciplinary collaboration of research institutions in the UK, Africa, South Pacific and the Caribbean, as well as UN agencies and other international partners, that is pioneering research on human rights and the marine environment, society and culture to support fair and inclusive decision-making for a healthy ocean whereby people and planet flourish.
Akustina Morni is Director of Policy at the International Organisation of Employers (IOE), which hosts the secretariat of the Employers‘ Group to the International Labour Organization (ILO) and active in other international fora. Her portfolio of expertise includes education, skills development, gender equality, diversity, future of work and employment. Akustina has over 20 years of experience in international diplomacy, attained from her tenure as a diplomat in charge of labour and human rights issues at the Permanent Mission of Brunei Darussalam to the United Nations in Geneva, research officer at the Brunei Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Trade, and as a junior technical officer at the ILO. Prior to joining the IOE, she was the programme focal point at the United Nations Institute for Training and Research and admin officer at the Australian Department of Justice. She has a Masters Degree in Public Policy (Brunei) and a Business Degree with a double major in management and marketing (Australia).

Alvin Mosioma is the founding Executive Director of Tax Justice Network Africa, a Pan-African Advocacy and Research Network of 32 members in 16 African countries working on Tax Justice and curbing of Illicit Financial Flows( IFFs) from Africa. He has spearheaded numerous civil society campaigns in Africa since 2007. He was nominated to join the Open Government Partnership as a member of the steering committee and previously served as the Chair of the Financial Transparency Coalition (FTC).
Alvin is a member of the advisory board for Plateforme de Protection des Lanceurs d’Alerte en Afrique (PPLAAF) and on the board of the coordinating committee of the Global Alliance for Tax Justice (GATJ).

Richard Mubiru works as Lead Officer in charge of Enterprise Growth and Development in the Private Sector Development Unit (PSDU) of the Ministry of Finance, Planning and Economic Development in Uganda.
Richard coordinates the Informality Management for Compliance and Resilience (IMCORE) program in Uganda. IMCORE is a 5-year study program on the transitioning of 10,000 small informal businesses into medium, compliant and attractive entities capable of participating in national, regional and global opportunities.
Through this program, Richard worked closely with UN Trade and Development team in undertaking a national Accounting Development Tool (ADT) assessment of the reporting infrastructure for SMEs, coordinated the domestication of the Uganda e-accounting tool and related training manuals for small informal businesses in Uganda.
This tool can be accessed through this link and is expected to transform accounting, reporting and filing capacities in SMEs as well as contributing to the development of national reporting infrastructure for SMEs in Uganda.
Richard is also passionate about Private Equity, Mergers and Acquisitions and Franchising as key growth strategies SMEs and important in preparing SMEs as investable opportunities.

Ambassador Albert Mudenda Muchanga is African Union Commissioner for Economic Development, Trade, Industry and Mining. In addition to these broad areas, the portfolio also covers tourism, investment, innovation, entrepreneurship, economic integration, economic policies and research, statistics and oil and gas.
He is formerly Commissioner for Trade and Industry. In this position, he provided strategic leadership in facilitating negotiation, conclusion and ratification of the Agreement Establishing the African Continental Free Trade Area (AfCFTA), which entered into force on 30 May 2019 and whose start of trading was launched on 1 January 2021. In addition, Ambassador Muchanga provided similar leadership on matters of trade, industrialisation, mining and customs cooperation. He mobilized the African private sector to play a greater role in the AfCFTA, culminating in the establishment of the African Business Council, Pan-African Manufacturers Association and Association of Chambers of Mines and other Mining Associations in Africa.
Ambassador Muchanga previously worked in the Zambian Civil Service at home and abroad, including as Permanent Secretary, Ambassador of Zambia to Brazil, Ambassador of Zambia to Ethiopia and Permanent Representative to the African Union and United Nations Economic Commission for Africa and as Deputy Executive Secretary of the Southern African Development Community (SADC).
Ambassador Muchanga works with ease at technical, professional, management, leadership and political levels.
