Bojan Nastav is a statistician at UNCTAD, working on methodological guidance for measuring tax and commercial illicit financial flows. previously, he has worked as a researcher at University of Primorska (Slovenia), focusing on statistical and economic analysis of the phenomenon of the shadow economy and at the National Statistical Office of Slovenia.
Leo serves as the Deputy Executive Director at Caribbean Export Development Agency, where he leads the Agency's Subregional Office in Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic.
In addition, he is the Programme Manager for the implementation of the Trade and Private Sector Component of the Haiti-DR Binational Programme being implemented by Caribbean Export under the 11th European Development Fund.
Prior to this role, Leo was the Deputy Head of Investment Promotion for US East at Invest Hong Kong, where he led the Consumer Products, Tourism and Hospitality, and Creative Industries portfolios for the eastern half of the United States. Leo was also an International Relations Associate within the Government Contracts Team at the Business Council for International Relations (BCIU) in New York City.
Before stepping into a leadership position, Leo had worked at Caribbean Export as a Competitiveness and Innovation Advisor. He also served as a Trade and Investment Policy Specialist at the Dominican Republic Export and Investment Center.
Anita Nayar directs Regions Refocus and co-chairs the Gender and Trade Coalition. She has worked nationally and internationally on issues including women human rights, economic globalization, and climate justice.
She previously served as Chief of the UN Non-Governmental Liaison Service in New York and on the Executive Committee of the South-based feminist network, Development Alternatives with Women for a New Era (DAWN).

Mthuli Ncube is the Minister of Finance in Zimbabwe. He has a background in academia, banking, investments and public policy.
Before his appointment as Minister of Finance in Zimbabwe in September 2018, he was managing director and head of Quantum Global Research Lab (Switzerland), part of Quantum Global Group, the largest Private Equity group dedicated to investing in Africa.
From 2014 to 2016 Professor Ncube led a multi-disciplinary project on the Economics of HIV (Rethink HIV) project at the Blavatnik School of Government as Professor of Public Policy.
He joined the Blavatnik School from the African Development Bank Group (AfDB), where he was Chief Economist and Vice President. He is ranked as a top economic thinker on Africa and globally.
As Vice President and Chief Economist of the AfDB he led the strategic thinking within the bank on development issues, and directly supervised the development Research, Statistics, and capacity development, general knowledge management, and strategy. He led and guided the development of the Bank’s '10 term Strategy' (2013-2022). He championed the “inclusive growth” agenda that underpins the bank’s long-term strategy, and created an “Inclusive Growth Index” for Africa. He represented the AfDB in external engagements and spokesperson on economic/development issues. He has led policy dialogue activities with governments in Africa and globally.
Professor Ncube holds a PhD in Economics (Mathematical Finance) from the University of Cambridge, Selwyn College, UK, on “Pricing Options under Stochastic Volatility”. He has been the Dean of the Faculty of Commerce Law and Management, and also Dean and Professor of Finance at Wits Business School, all at the University of Witwatersrand, in South Africa. He founded the Centre for Entrepreneurship at Wits University. He was also a Lecturer in Finance at the London School of Economics (LSE).
Thuthukani Ndlovu is an Assistant Coordinator at Vrystaat Arts Festival and the Founder and Creative Director of The Radioactive blog. More popularly known as TK – is an author, poet, XR (Extended Reality) enthusiast, digital artist and Art curator learning Video and Film production in Bloemfontein, South Africa. He works for the Vrystaat Literature Festival as an assistant coordinator, while also being a project manager for the Pan African Telematic Art Project - PATAP (an initiative of the Vrystaat Arts Festival).
He’s the founder and creative director of The Radioactive Blog, an online creative hub that aims to drive innovation and creativity through artistic expression, capacity development and technology. In terms of sharing his work, his performance journey spans across Zimbabwe, Lesotho, Zambia, Malawi and South Africa, and in 2020 he published his debut poetry collection "My Poetic Collage" (Which is the first South African published poetry collection that features Augmented Reality.) Most of his poetry and digital art is centered around social activism, with the objective of trying to develop communities through creative expression. On this note, he also advocates for exploring creative ways to express poetry and digital art through experimenting with technologies like Augmented Reality and Virtual Reality.
To date, he has worked with Creative Digital Arts Festival – under the banner of the Makhanda National Arts Festival, Fakugesi African Digital Innovation Festival, Harare Litfest, Brighton Digital Festival (in partnership with Urban Flo), Free State Digital Art fest and Tumaini Festival (A festival at the Dzaleka Refugee camp in Malawi). Thuthukani is also part of The Festival Academy Alumni – after being selected to participate in their Atelier for Young Festival Managers in Johannesburg and Gothenburg in 2018. Dr. Patrick Ndzana Olomo is Economist, Acting Director Economic Development, Integration and Trade Directorate and Head of Economic Policy and Sustainable Development Division and Coordinator of the Productive Transformation and Regional Value Chain Initiatives at the African Union Commission (AUC) in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia.
His work includes contributing to Africa’s economic transformation through regional value chains, industrialization, financial Sector Development and Regional Integration in Africa.
Before joining the Commission, he served as Lecturer, at Omar Bongo University (ENSET-Gabon) and International Consultant at the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP), the African Development Bank and the Economic Community of Central African States (ECCAS), where he successfully applied economic principles to produce rigorous analytical work and policy orientations in private sector development, macroeconomic and financial situation Central African Countries for economic and social transformation.
Dr. NDZANA's research interests include: international economics, investment, private sector, regulation, institutions, and policy evaluation. In addition, Dr. NDZANA is the Editor of the African Integration and Development Review of the AUC. He holds a PhD in Economics from Dschang University (Cameroon).

Samuel Donatien Nengue totalise une expérience de trente-cinq (35) années d’activités ininterrompues dans les domaines du management des organisations, du conseil, des audits comptables et/ financiers. Il est depuis le 17 Novembre 2016 Administrateur du Fonds de Développement des Filières Cacao et Café (FODECC). Avant le FODECC, l’Administrateur a collaboré dans de nombreuses missions au sein du cabinet d’expertise comptable et financière Finaudit S.A. Il a dirigé le cabinet d’études de conseils et d’audits Global Engineering Solution SARL, spécialisé dans le conseil juridique et gestion, le redressement des entreprises en difficultés et les opérations d’adressage urbain. Entre 2012 et 2016, il a assuré les fonctions de Secrétaire Permanent du Syndicat Professionnel du Bâtiment des Travaux Publics et des activités connexes. A la caisse d’épargne, il a occupé diverses fonctions de direction. La soixantaine révolue, Samuel Donatien NENGUE est né le 07 septembre 1961 à Songmbenguè, dans le Département de la Sanaga maritime, en République du Cameroun. Il est marié et père de 8 enfants. La plupart des portraits qui sont dressés du patron du FODECC parlent d’un homme humble, acharné au travail et très proche des gens. Samuel Donatien NENGUE a fait ses classes à l’Université de Yaoundé (Cameroun), puis au CNAM de Paris, aux Ponts et Chaussées (France), à Birmingham University (Royaume-Uni), à IRF Orlando (aux Etats-Unis) et enfin à Setym Montréal (Canada). Actuellement, il est en fin d’études du cycle doctorat. Membre du Rassemblement Démocratique du Peuple Camerounais (RDPC) depuis 1985, il a conduit diverses missions d’encadrement des activités de ce parti dans la Section de la Sanaga Maritime Nord.
