Marta Lucía Ramírez, tiene más de 35 años de experiencia en desarrollo empresarial, comercio, negociaciones internacionales, inversión extranjera, seguridad, democracia, gobernabilidad y desarrollo regional.
Durante su carrera, se ha preocupado por la lucha contra la corrupción, la seguridad, la creación de empleos, la competitividad, el fortalecimiento del poder judicial, y ha promovido e implementado políticas públicas para el empoderamiento político, social y económico de las mujeres.
En agosto de 2018 se convirtió en la primera mujer en ocupar el cargo de Vicepresidenta en Colombia y allí se ha enfocado en temas como transparencia, lucha anticorrupción, equidad de género, infraestructura y transporte.
Promueve la ciencia, la tecnología y la innovación. Preside la Comisión Colombiana del Océano y la Comisión Colombiana del Espacio.
Se desempeña simultáneamente como Canciller, donde profundiza acciones para posicionar a Colombia como referente mundial, construyendo puentes que permitan afianzar la institucionalidad, cerrar brechas sociales y fortalecer la democracia.
Committed and a leader in the fishing sector in Conil, daughter and granddaughter of sailors, she has a Higher Degree in Administration and Finance and a Master's Degree in Business Administration and Management from the University of Cadiz.
In 2002 she began working in the administrative area of the Conil Fishermen's Association, and in 2011 she became part of the Technical team of the Organisation of Artisanal Fishing Producers Lonja de Conil (OPP72), where she works advising members on all administrative issues that they require and as Project Director of the aforementioned Organisation, specialising in FEMPA funds.
She combines her work with the Torre de Castilnovo Association of Women of the Sea (Con il) where she works as Secretary.

He is a voice actor, and co-host of the Zeitgeist TV show where he also does features and reviews on films.

María Carolina is a lawyer from the Externado University of Colombia, with a specialization in Regulation and Management of Telecommunications and New Technologies and another in State Contracting. She has more than 18 years of experience in the public sector, where she has held various positions, including deputy attorney of the Disciplinary Chamber of the Attorney General's Office, advisor to the Elite Group of Disciplinary Investigations, and has also been an official of the Council of State.
She currently holds the position of Deputy Superintendent for Consumer Protection at the Superintendence of Industry and Commerce. Her career has focused on sanctioning and administrative law, leading high-profile cases, supervising disciplinary investigations and participating in the resolution of appeals related to administrative sanctions. Her professional qualities include a deep knowledge of sanctions law, analytical capacity for complex cases, legal research skills, effective coordination of multidisciplinary teams and excellent communication and legal argumentation skills.
Edna Ramirez-Robles has 20 years of experience as an international consultant in 58+ jurisdictions worldwide. Her expertise is on legal and political issues of international trade and investment. She is the CEO and Founder of GoBizGlobal. She has carried out Technical Assistance Projects financed by USAID, EU, WTO, ICO, IsDB, TradeMark South Africa; UEMOA, IDB, UNDP, CIPE and UNCTAD. She worked at Secretariats of international organizations such as UNCTAD, WTO, and IDB.
Furthermore, she is a Professor at the University of Guadalajara campus Puerto Vallarta (CUC) and she has lectured at American University and worked at Georgetown University and at the Graduate Institute of International Studies.
Edna Ramirez-Robles graduated as a lawyer from University of Guadalajara, Mexico. Her PhD/SJD and LLM from the Universidad Complutense from Madrid (Ortega y Gasset Institute) are on European Studies and specialized on International Trade Law. Moreover, she has authored more than 60 publications.
His Excellency José Manuel Ramos-Horta is an East Timorese politician. He has been the president of East Timor since 2022, having previously also held the position from 20 May 2007 to 20 May 2012.
Previously he was Minister of Foreign Affairs from 2002 to 2006 and Prime Minister from 2006 to 2007. He was a co-recipient of the 1996 Nobel Peace Prize, along with Carlos Filipe Ximenes Belo, for working "towards a just and peaceful solution to the conflict in East Timor".
After East Timor achieved independence in 2002, Ramos-Horta was appointed as the country's first foreign minister. He served in this position until his resignation on 25 June 2006. On 26 June 2006, Ramos-Horta was appointed as acting Prime Minister. Two weeks later, he was sworn in as the second Prime Minister of East Timor. He was elected as President in 2007.
After leaving office as President in 2012, Ramos-Horta was appointed as the United Nations' Special Representative and Head of the United Nations Integrated Peacebuilding Office in Guinea-Bissau (UNIOGBIS) on 2 January 2013.
He was re-elected to the presidency in 2022.

Dr. Leslie Ramsammy is currently the Ambassador/ Permanent Representative of the Co-operative Republic of Guyana to Switzerland, accredited to the United Nations and the World Trade Organisation in Geneva.
Dr. Leslie Ramsammy was Chairman of the Executive Board of Pan Caribbean Partnership against HIV /AIDS, Chairman of the CARI COM Council for Human and Social Development and Chairman of the Caribbean Public Health Agency. Dr. Ramsammy's impressive and extensive public health stewardship saw him elected Chairman of the Global Fund for Affordable Medicines for Malaria, a position he held between 2010 and 2011. Dr. Ramsammy also served as a Director of the Global Fund Board representing Latin America and the Caribbean and a member of the Policy and Strategy Committee of the Global Fund also representing Latin America and the Caribbean.
Dr. Ramsammy served as the President of the World Health Organization 61st World Assembly (2008- 2009). His appointment made it the first time a Minister of the Americas would hold that post since 1972. He became only the second representative from the region to do so. Prior to this post, he served as President of the Pan American Health Organization's 47th Directing Council (2006-2008).
Dr. Ramsammy since 2001 advocated for a trajectory of elimination of HIV, which has now become a global goal and defined by UNAIDS as the Zero Goals-"Zero New Infections", "Zero Discrimination", and "Zero AIDS-related deaths". The Guyana National AIDS Program made tremendous strides under Dr. Ramsammy's leadership as Health Minister with respects to reducing the spread of the disease, in particular the reduction of pregnant women testing positive, and the number of babies being born with HIV. Dr. Ramsammy was honored by the Guyana National AIDS Programme Secretariat in 2010 for his vision to pursue a trajectory of elimination of new HIV infections and for his successful decade long stewardship as Health Minister. In 2011 he was presented Outstanding Leadership Award by PANCAP.

Valeria has worked on municipal and state bond issuances for the State of California and the City of New York, and was a director of a private equity firm with a range of investments in energy markets and community-level economic development. Valeria earned her AB from Bryn Mawr College and a Master in Public Policy and Finance from the University of Southern California.
