
Ms. Nadia Calviño Santamaría is the First Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Economic Affairs and Digital Transformation, Spain
Economist and legal expert, Ms. Calviño Santamaría was a lecturer in Political Science and the Financial System at the Complutense University of Madrid. Since April 2014, she has been Director-General of Budgets at the European Commission, responsible for multiyear financial planning, the annual budgets, accounting and the regulation of the EU Budget.
Previously, she held the position of Assistant Director-General for Financial Services and Assistant Director-General at the Directorate-General for Competition at the European Commission.
Before joining the European Commission in September 2006, Ms. Calviño Santamaría developed her professional career in the Spanish national administration as a State commercial technician and economist, holding various posts in the Ministry of Economy in the foreign trade, analysis and macro-economic department, economic policy department and defence of competition department. In this last field, she held the posts of Under-Director-General of Legal Affairs, Under-Director-General of Mergers and Director-General of Competition.

Cristina Camacho is a career member of the Ecuadorian Foreign Service with the rank of Minister. Prior to her appointment as Undersecretary for International Cooperation, she served at the Embassy of Ecuador in Washington, the Embassy of Ecuador in Peru, and Ecuador’s Mission to the European Union in Brussels. Additionally, she held the positions of Acting Undersecretary for Multilateral Affairs and Director of the Inter-American System.
In the multilateral sphere, Minister Camacho serves as Chair of the Global Forum on Cyber Expertise (GFCE) Foundation Board, a global platform dedicated to strengthening cybersecurity capacities worldwide. Her expertise in this field has positioned her as a key facilitator in promoting international cooperation to address the challenges of the digital environment.
During her tenure as Head of Cooperation at Ecuador’s Mission to the European Union, she led collaborative initiatives with the European Union, the Council of Europe, governments, and international agencies, significantly contributing to Ecuador’s resilience against various security challenges.
Minister Camacho is a strong advocate for the importance of public-private partnerships and the development of a new era of international cooperation, integrating diverse stakeholders and fostering meaningful, high-impact connections. Her experience and leadership have enabled Ecuador to establish itself as a relevant player in the fields of cybersecurity and international cooperation.
Minister Camacho earned a Bachelor's degree in Applied Languages to International Relations from Pontificia Universidad Católica del Ecuador, a Master’s degree in International Public Policy from The Johns Hopkins University, and a Diploma in International Relations from the Latin American Faculty of Social Sciences (FLACSO).
Anthony (Tony) Cambas is an Adjunct Faculty member in Management (International) and Manager of International Trade at the University of Mississippi / Mississippi Small Business Development Center (MS-SBDC). In his current position, Anthony provides international trade assistance to entrepreneurs and SMEs throughout Mississippi, U.S.A.
He has worked as a senior advisor on multiple USAID, EU, Interamerican Development Bank (IDB) and other donor funded projects in Africa, Asia and Latin America focusing on Customs modernization, Trade Facilitation, Free Trade Agreement (FTA) implementation, and export development.
Anthony is a former U.S. Customs Import Specialist Team Leader in Miami, Florida and enforced import admissibility requirements, HS classification, valuation, preferential and non-preferential rules of origin and Intelectual Property Rights. while with U.S. Customs, he was part of the Customs effort to implement and enforce NAFTA rules of origin.
Cambas is multilingual and holds a bachelor's degree in International Relations from Florida International University (U.S.A.); a masters in International Customs Law and Administration from the University of Canberra (Australia); and a masters in International Agriculture with a focus on International Trade and Development from Oklahoma State University (U.S.A).
He is a Licensed Customs Broker (LCB) by U.S. Customs and Border Protection/U.S. Department of Homeland Security; a Certified Customs Specialist (CCS) by the National Customs Brokers & Forwarders Association of America (NCBFAA); and a NASBITE Certified Global Business Professional (CGBP).

Diana Camerini is Associate Statistician at the United Nations Trade and Development (UNCTAD) since 2023. She contributes to improving statistical concepts and data for measuring linkages between trade and biodiversity, starting from the data released by UNCTAD TraBio statistical tool.
Her major expertise lies in statistical methods to measure illicit financial flows, including those related to the trafficking in wildlife species.
Previously, she worked for over six years as data specialist at the United Nations Office on Drugs and Crime (UNODC), where she focused on developing key concepts and methods to estimate the size of illegal economic activities, including of wildlife crime and related illicit financial flows.
Between 2014 and 2016, Ms. Camerini was empirical researcher at Transcrime in Milan, Italy, focusing on money laundering risk modelling and methods to estimate proceeds of crime. She holds an M.Sc. in Economic and Social Sciences (2012) from Bocconi University in Milan, Italy.

Ana Cristina is a veterinarian who works with the World Bank Agriculture and Food GP East and Southern Africa region to support the livestock, animal health and One Health agendas. Before joining the Bank, Ana Cristina worked in her own practice on international food safety regulatory strategy, advising governments, IGOs, and the private sector. Her previous professional experience includes work in the Chilean Government, specifically the Chilean Food Safety and Quality Agency (ACHIPIA) as food safety advisor and Codex National Contact Point and the General Directorate of International Economic Affairs (DIRECON) as SPS/TBT negotia¬tor and regulatory advisor. Ms. Canales is a Veterinarian from the Universidad de Chile with a Master’s in Public Policy from the Faculty of Economics, and a Master of Arts in Development Studies, Major in Development Economics and specialization in Econometric Analysis of Development Policies of the International Institute of Social Stud¬ies (ISS) of Erasmus University Rotterdam.

Orlando Cantell is an official at Her Majesty’s Revenue & Customs in the United Kingdom. He leads a team that represents the UK internationally on trade facilitation, manages the UK’s capacity building activities in customs, and runs the UK’s National Trade Facilitation Committee. His career in different UK departments has included policy roles in international trade in goods, transport, and business regulation.
Camila Capassi is the coordinator of the Youth Action Hub Netherlands. Originally from Brazil, she completed an international Master of Science in Management at Nyenrode Business Universiteit in 2019. She focused her studies on sustainability, global strategy and market transformation.
Her experience spans five years in engineering consulting. This includes working with environmental and social impact assessment and sustainability in diverse sectors like agriculture and energy to name a few, and two years in the banking industry. She has experience with an agile way of working, community facilitation with strong communication and interpersonal and analytical skills.
Over the last 10 years, Camila has dedicated time to educate and contribute to impactful initiatives. Today, she leads the UNCTAD Youth Action Hub Netherlands, a global initiative that strives to engage and educate young people in sustainable development to impactfully contribute to Agenda 2030. Also, Camila has proudly joined the UN Global Compact Young Professionals Program 2021 as one of the Team Captains.

Anderson holds a Ph.D. degree in Finance from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign and has written policy papers covering several different topics related to debt market development and debt management. He has been Practice Manager for Long-Term Finance and focuses in the areas of capital market development and sustainable finance. Prior to the Inter-American Development Bank (IDB), he served the Brazilian Treasury, among others, as Head of the Public Debt Strategic Planning Department, formulating strategies in domestic and international capital markets for the overall government debt portfolio. He was Lead Financial Sector Specialist in the Finance, Competitiveness, and Innovation Global Practice at the World Bank.

Andrea Cararo is a Programme Management Officer in the Science and Technical Assistance Branch of the Basel, Rotterdam and Stockholm Conventions Secretariat. He delivers technical assistance on preventing, reducing and managing plastic waste, and supports national, regional and global projects that help Parties in implementing the Basel Convention Plastic Waste Amendments.
He previously held positions at ITU, UNITAR and UNEP, where he led e-waste policy support, advanced Pollutant Release and Transfer Registers, and managed capacity-building initiatives on persistent organic pollutants and e-waste.
He holds a Master’s degree in European Economy and Business Law from the University of Rome Tor Vergata.

Rodrigo Cárcamo Díaz is Chief (a.i.) at the Commodities Policy Implementation Section of United Nations Trade and Development (UNCTAD) in Geneva, Switzerland.
During his more than two decades of experience working on different development issues, he has authored different publications on development issues, including journal articles, a book, book chapters and research papers. His current research interests are focused on sustainable agricultural value chains for export in developing countries.
He also leads capacity-building projects on this topic in different developing countries, organizes international policy dialogue events, and represents UNCTAD in different international fora linked to agricultural commodities, trade and development issues.
He holds an MPhil in Economics from the University of Oxford, and a Diploma in Statistics from the Universidad Católica de Chile.
