Nicholas Kamanzi is a serial entrepreneur and fintech innovator with a proven track record of launching and scaling transformative digital solutions across Africa. As the CEO and Co-founder of SocialPay, he is dedicated to expanding financial inclusion in Uganda’s rural communities by leveraging new technology. Previously, he played a key role in expanding Wave Mobile Money in Uganda, securing regulatory approvals and spearheading market entry. His leadership at SafeBoda reshaped the company’s payment systems, enhancing financial access during critical times. Kamanzi also co-founded PayNext, a fintech marketplace for SMEs, and Yoza Tech, a platform connecting single mothers to work. With a background in computer engineering from Busitema University, he is passionate about leveraging technology to uplift underserved communities. A Mandela Washington Fellow, Mr. Kamanzi remains committed to reducing poverty by expanding access to financial services and economic opportunities in urban Uganda.

Prof. dr. Nancy (AEM) Kamp-Roelands is a professor non-financial information, integrated reporting and assurance at the University of Groningen, the Netherlands. Since the early nineties Nancy has been involved in sustainability and integrated reporting and assurance developments in organizations like the International Integrated Reporting Council, Global Reporting Initiative, Accountancy Europe, UNCTAD-ISAR, the International Auditing and Assurance Standards Board (IAASB), the Dutch Accounting Standards Board and the Dutch Auditing Standards Board. She had an award-winning PhD in 2002 on Towards a Framework for Auditing Environmental Reports. She worked at EY from 2000-2013 and from 2016-2021 and served many (inter)national client, as well was the project lead of EY’s global sustainability assurance methodology. From 2013-2016 Nancy was the deputy director of the IAASB.
She always combined international client experience with (international) standard setting and guidance development, teaching and research. In 2010 Nancy was the chair of UNCTAD-ISAR’s 27th session.

Ms. Tekreth Kamrang currently serves as the Secretary of State at the Ministry of Commerce, Royal Government of Cambodia.
During the past 17 years, she has been involved in and managed the organization in the areas of international cooperation, Aid for Trade Programs, trade policy formulation, and trade finance. In this capacity, she has played important roles in enhancing Cambodia’s trade development and integration into the global market.
She has actively engaged in strengthening and diversifying Cambodia’s trade relations with other countries. She has recently engaged in trade negotiation with the United Arab Emirates for the Establishment of the Comprehensive Economic Partnership Agreement, under her role as Chief Negotiator. She has been the Co-Chair of various Joint Economic Committees to strengthen trade and economic development with other countries.
She received her Medical Doctor degree from the University of Health Science, Cambodia in 1996. She received a Master Degree in Public Health Policy from the University of Oklahoma Health Science Center, United States in 2004. She also holds her PhD in Economics in Cambodia, received in 2025.
Bora Kamwanya is Deputy Secretary General of the PAN- African Youth Union.
He was born in Kinshasa, DRC. He graduated in International Relations and is pursuing a master’s in business management.
Bora has worked with multiple Diaspora NGO and periodically advises the EU, the AU, the UN and the ACP among others on topics such as youth inclusion in all spaces. Since December 2017, Bora is serving in the Executive Committee of the Pan-African Youth Union as Deputy Secretary General in charge of Diaspora Affairs. Bora organized and took part in different Youth conferences and high level panels in Africa, Europe and the Caribbean.
Bora was part of the United Nations Lisbon+21 Task force and the Commonwealth International Task force organizing the Commonwealth Youth Forum.
Bora is an active member of the African Union Diaspora Youth Initiative, convened by the African Union delegation to the EU and the Secretary General of ACP Young Professionals Network (ACP YPN).

Malick Kane has over ten years of experience coordinating projects and conducting research in the areas of green exports, climate change, and Non-Tariff Measures (NTMs). He has contributed to various publications on trade and climate change and is currently leading the implementation of regional projects aimed at promoting intra-African value chain development and climate resilience in West and Central Africa. In addition to his project management and research work, he is actively involved in developing and delivering both face-to-face and online training programs.
Malick joined UNCTAD in 2012 and is currently a member of UNCTAD’s Trade and Environment Branch. He also works closely with UNCTAD’s Trade Analysis Branch to which he belonged for the last 3 years. Before joining UNCTAD, he worked at UNITAR on environmental governance, green economy, and climate change.
He holds a Degree of Advanced Studies in Management and Analysis of Public Policies from the University of Geneva, Switzerland, and is also a graduate in Public Law and Political Science from the University of Toulouse, France.
Kumar Kanishk is currently an Assistant Director in the Department of Commerce, Government of India. He has been involved with the G20 issues over the last 4 years and has been instrumental in the successful completion of the Indian G20 Presidency.
Kanishk, an officer of the Indian Economic Service (IES) of the Indian Civil Services has had a proficient training in theoretical and applied economics.
In the past, he has been involved in the negotiating teams in Free Trade Agreements like India- UAE, India- EU, and upcoming FTAs. In addition to his trade focus, Kanishk has been trained in Public Finance and Public Policy.

Pınar Karakaya is an economist at the FAO Liaison Office in Geneva where she leads the trade and food security workstream. She has 17 years of professional experience in agrifood trade, commodity markets and trade negotiations. Prior to joining FAO, she worked as a government official for the Türkiye’s Ministry of Trade which is the sole authority in the country for import and export policies. From March, 2019 to July, 2022, she served as a Commercial Counsellor at the Permanent Mission of Türkiye to the WTO, where she focused on fisheries subsidies negotiations and agriculture negotiations. Pinar has an educational background on international relations, with a particular focus on international political economy. She holds a Master of Arts in International Policy Studies from Stanford University in the United States and a Master of Business Administration from the Middle East Technical University in Türkiye.
