
Zdenko Lucić, State Secretary for Trade and Development Cooperation at Ministry of Foreign and European Affairs has 20 years of experience in attracting and facilitating domestic and foreign investments, trade related issues, development cooperation, PPP as well as business management. He has extensive knowledge and experience in public and private sector.
Zdenko was Managing Director of national Agency for Investments and Competitiveness, Member of Supervisory Board of Croatian Energy Market Operator, State Secretary for Investments, Competitiveness and PPP at Ministry of Economy and Sustainable Development of the Republic of Croatia. His other responsibilities included positions like Head of Committee for Croatian accession to the OECD and Deputy Commissioner General of the Republic of Croatia for Expo 2020 Dubai.
He currently serves as Deputy Chief Negotiator for Croatian accession to the OECD, Member of OECD Istanbul Centre Advisory Board, National Coordinator for the Implementation of Development Strategy of South East Europe 2030, Commissioner General for the Republic of Croatia for Expo 2025 Osaka, Head of Committee for amicable resolution of investors to state disputes, and Chair of the UNECE Steering Committee on Trade Capacity and Standards.
He graduated with high honours from the Rochester Institute of Technology, USA, and holds MBA degree from Faculty of Economics and Business, University of Zagreb, Croatia. He speaks English and uses German language.
Inspired by multilateralism and regional cooperation, Martin is spearheading the Global Network of Regional Sustainable Energy Centres (GN-SEC) program and is managing a portfolio of sustainable energy and climate technology projects in small island developing states (SIDS) and least developed countries (LDCs).
Before joining UNIDO in 2010, he was responsible for the energy program at the Austrian Development Agency (ADA) and worked at the development cooperation department of the Austrian Federal Ministry of European and International Affairs.
Martin obtained Master degrees on renewable energy technologies and political science.

Mr. Malack Luhanga is Assistant Director in charge of the Debt Data Management Unit under the Debt Management Office (DMO) in the Ministry of Finance and National Planning, Zambia. He has been supervising the management of debt data with the use of DMFAS for the past seven (7) years.
With his vast experience in Programming and Databases, he has contributed to the enhancement of debt data transparency by regular production of a Debt Statistical Bulletin for Zambia which is published on the Ministry of Finance website. He has also provided support to the Front and Middle Offices of the DMO including during the debt restructuring process by maintaining an updated database.
Prior to that Mr. Luhanga was key in the development of the Budgeting software as well as the Funding Release system and provided technical support in managing and maintaining the systems for over 10 years as a Systems Analyst in the Budget Office of the Ministry of Finance, Zambia.


Dr. Rizal Affandi Lukman is the Secretary General of Council of Palm Oil Producing Countries (CPOPC). He was a past Deputy Minister for International Economic Cooperation at the Coordinating Ministry for Economic Affairs, the Republic of Indonesia with main role to oversee the coordination and harmonization of government policies related to international economic cooperation in the multilateral, regional, and bilateral forums. During his tenure as the Deputy Minister, he was appointed by the President of the Republic of Indonesia as Indonesia’s Sherpa in the G20 forum. Previously he worked at the Presidential Palace Office, serving as Assistant to the Private Secretary of the 6th President of the Republic of Indonesia, Dr. Susilo Bambang Yudhoyono.
He also served as Indonesia’s Senior Official in numerous bilateral cooperation frameworks such as with Japan, China, South Korea, Russia, and Singapore as well as regional and sub-regional cooperation such as APEC, ASEAN, IMT-GT, and BIMP-EAGA cooperation and has experience as a commissioner in various state-owned enterprises (PT. Krakatau Wajatama, PT. Pertamina Hulu Energy, and Perum Peruri).
He also has written various articles for academic journals, mainly on the topic of Economic Affairs, Poverty and Inequality, Monetary, Finance, and Management. He is also an active speaker in various domestic and international workshops and seminars.
His Excellency Luiz Inácio Lula da Silva, is a Brazilian politician who is the 39th and current president of Brazil since 2023.
A member of the Workers' Party, Lula was also the 35th president from 2003 to 2011.
He also holds the presidency of the G20 since 2023.
Mr. Peter Lunenborg is Senior Programme Officer of the Trade for Development Programme of the South Centre. He provides policy analysis and advice on trade policies to developing countries and developing country groupings in Geneva as well as to capitals.
He closely follows the various negotiations and discussions at the World Trade Organization (WTO), and has worked on Economic Partnership Agreements (EPAs) and the African Continental Free Trade Area (AfCFTA).
Before joining the South Centre, he was a manager at Maersk. He has published, inter alia, in the Ashgate Research Companion to International Trade Policy and the Global Trade and Customs Journal.
He has an LLM and MSc in Economics from the Erasmus University, Rotterdam, The Netherlands.

Nora Lustig is Professor Emerita of Economics and the founding Director of the Commitment to Equity Institute (CEQ) at Tulane University, and Visiting Professor at El Colegio de México. She is also a nonresident scholar at the Brookings Institution, the Center for Global Development, the Georgetown University Americas Institute, the Paris School of Economics, and the Stone Center on Socioeconomic Inequality.
Her research focuses on economic development, inequality, and social policies, with particular emphasis on Latin America. She has published more than ninety articles and fifteen edited volumes and books. Her most recent publication, Commitment to Equity Handbook: Estimating the Impact of Fiscal Policy on Inequality and Poverty, provides a step-by-step guide to assessing how taxation and social spending affect inequality and poverty in developing countries.
Professor Lustig co-chairs the UN High-level Expert Group on Beyond GDP. She is a former President of the Society for the Study of Economic Inequality (ECINEQ) and President Emeritus of the Latin American and Caribbean Economic Association (LACEA). She also serves on the editorial board of the Journal of Economic Inequality.
She received her Ph.D. in Economics from the University of California, Berkeley, and in 2021 was honored with the Tulane University Innovation Award.
