Silvia Sorescu is a Policy Analyst in the Emerging Policy Issues Division of the OECD’s Trade and Agriculture Directorate, which she joined in 2010. Silvia is currently the Project Lead for the Directorate’s trade facilitation work, which includes the OECD Trade Facilitation Indicators covering over 160 economies. Her work is focused on mapping the policy environment for trade facilitation and linking trade facilitation issues to digital trade, global supply chains, and sustainability.
Silvia has as well in-depth country-specific experience, working on agro-food trade and domestic policy issues in economies such as China, Colombia, India, and Indonesia.
Prior to joining the OECD, she was a Research Associate at the World Economy Group, an academic research centre at the Paris Institute of Political Studies (Sciences Po Paris), working on various trade policy and European Union policy issues.

Ambassador Dagfinn Sørli is the Permanent Representative of Norway to the WTO and EFTA in Geneva since 2018.
Mr. Sørli has a degree in Political Science (Cand. Polit.) from the University of Oslo. He joined the Ministry of Trade and Shipping in 1986 and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs in 1988, working on export promotion and bilateral trade with developing countries. He served at the Norwegian embassies in Riyadh 1990-1993 and in Washington D.C. 1993-1996. From 1997 to 2001 he worked on promoting exports and bilateral trade relations in the Ministry of Trade and Industry.
Back in the Ministry of Foreign Affairs in 2002 he was the Head of the Globalization Project, and Director for WTO and OECD affairs from 2003 to 2014. He was Norway’s ambassador to Estonia from 2014 to 2018.

Since 2018, Karen has been Trade Facilitation Coordinator and Negotiator at the Vice-Ministry of Economic Integration and Foreign Trade (Ministry of Economic Development of Honduras), Coordinator of the National Trade Facilitation Committee of Honduras (CONFACO) and its Technical Secretariat, with an active role at the national, regional, and multilateral levels.
She holds a degree in Business Administration and an MSc in Strategic Marketing, University Teaching, and Military Didactics.
She has undergone extensive training in areas such as economy, foreign trade, customs, and regional and multilateral trade facilitation with the support of international organizations.

Dr. Reina Sotillo is a lawyer, with the highest average from the National University of La Plata, and PhD from the University of City of Los Angeles. She is a full member of the Board of the Green Climate Fund, has been re-elected 1st Vice President of the FAO COFI FT.
Reina is the author of 14 books and innumerable articles specialized in international media and an international expert repeatedly invited by UNCTAD / FAO among others organizations; was representative to the OECD in Paris for 5 years, Head of Delegation in meetings before the SGPC and the FCPB, in Geneva, the COPESAAL, in Lima, the FAO/Parlatino, in Panamá, the COFI FT FAO in Marrakesh, Busán, Alesund, and Representative in meetings in Washington, Boston, Madrid, in addition to Rome-FAO and Geneva-UNCTAD and WTO.
She is Minister Plenipotentiary, with national and international awards and distinctions of, among others, the H. Senate of Argentine, the Plurinational Assembly of Bolivia, the International Conference of American Women held in Washington, the Parliament of Jujuy, the City of Salta, Nantes-St. Nazaire, Dominican Republic.

Marina Souza is the Chief Legal and Compliance Officer at [Company F], a role she has held since August 2021. With over 12 years of experience in the agribusiness industry, Marina's expertise spans beyond traditional legal counsel. She has also held significant roles in compliance and sustainability, acquiring valuable knowledge in maritime transportation.
Prior to her work in agribusiness, Marina spent 12 years at leading international law firms, where she developed substantial expertise in corporate law. A passionate advocate for diversity and inclusion, she has served on the board of WISTA (Women in Shipping and Trading Association) for the past four years. In this capacity, she champions initiatives that promote gender equality and support diversity within the shipping and trading sectors. Her dedication to these causes underscores her commitment to advancing equality in the workplace.
Özlem Soysanli is a Senior Technical Officer at the World Customs Organization (WCO) in Brussels, Belgium.
She joined the WCO Compliance and Facilitation Directorate in August 2018. She previously worked in various capacities in the Turkish Customs Administration for over 22 years, mainly in the area of Customs legislation. She also worked as the Customs Counsellor at the Turkish Embassy in Brussels from 2014 to 2018 with the responsibility of representing the Turkish Customs at the WCO as well as at Belgium Customs.
Within the Procedures and Facilitation Sub-Directorate, she is primarily in charge of the Permanent Technical Committee (PTC), the WTO Trade Facilitation Agreement (TFA), the National Trade Facilitation Committees (NCTFs), the WCO Mercator Programme and the WCO Economic Competitiveness Package (ECP). She is also part of the Disruptive Technologies and Smart Customs Projects teams.
Brad Sparks is Executive Director of Accounting for Sustainability (A4S) Foundation (US). A4S was founded in 2004 by HM King Charles when he was The Prince of Wales. Brad leads the US Chapter of the A4S CFO Leadership Network, supporting Fortune 500 CFOs and their finance teams in embedding sustainability into business decision making. He also leads A4S activities across the US, including working with investors, business schools, and accounting organizations. Brad previously served as an Executive Director with KPMG focused on ESG issues. Brad is a lecturer at UCLA Anderson and an Executive-in-Residence at Cornell University’s Center for Global Sustainable Enterprise. He lives in Los Angeles.

William Speller is a Programme Officer in the Economics of Nature Unit of UNEP’s Ecosystems Division.
William’s focus is on natural capital accounting and valuation of ecosystem services in the agriculture sector. He has fifteen years’ experience in public policy in national and international organizations, including the Bank of England, Reserve Bank of India, World Bank, United Nations Conference on Trade and Development, International Institute for Sustainable Development and UNEP.
He holds and MSc in Economics from Stockholm School of Economics, an MSc in Environmental Management from University of London and an MSc in Philosophy from University of Edinburgh.

Shane Spelliscy is currently the Director General and Senior General Counsel of the Trade Law Bureau of the Government of Canada. As the Director General and Senior General Counsel, he is the Government’s most senior international trade lawyer, responsible for all international trade related legal advice. He joined the Trade Law Bureau in 2008. He has provided advice on Canada's obligations under its trade and investment treaties and served as counsel in trade and investment treaty negotiations and disputes. He has acted as Canada’s delegate at UNCITRAL since 2008, including with respect to the revision of the UNCITRAL Arbitration Rules, the development of the UNCITRAL Rules on Transparency, and the negotiation of the Mauritius Convention on Transparency in Treaty-Based ISDS. In November 2017, he was elected by the Member States of UNCITRAL as the Chair of Working Group III, which has been tasked with considering possible reforms in the field of ISDS.
