
Ms Chandrima Chatterjee is the Secretary General of the Confederation of Indian Textile Industry (CITI), New Delhi.
Ms. Chandrima Chatterjee with her 25 years of experience of research, policy, advocacy and trade facilitation.
Besides working on trade facilitation and competitiveness issues for the textile value chain, she has been associated with skilling, sustainability and responsible business initiatives, recognizing the growing role of these as competitiveness tools.
Having worked on domestic and export sector and dealt with issues of the entire textile value chain through her earlier stints at AEPC, CITI and national bodies like ASSOCHAM, she has been lending her expertise for an overall growth of the textile value chain, in line with CITIs vision of a strong textile industry in India.
Sankalp Chaturvedi is an Associate Professor in Organisational Behaviour and Leadership at the Imperial College Business School. Currently, Sankalp is also leading the Gandhi Centre within the School.
He holds a PhD from the NUS Business School, National University of Singapore. Prior to his PhD, he has a Masters in Human Resource Development and Management from the Indian Institute of Technology, Kharagpur, India and a Bachelors in Engineering from RAU, Udaipur, India.
Kailash Chauhan is a Research Fellow (legal) at the Centre of WTO Studies (CWTOS) working at the Ministry of Commerce and Industries, Government of India.
Kailash is working in the Trade facilitation department and has done research work on various projects related to Trade facilitation like The WTO’s Trade Facilitation Agreement Facility (TFAF), India’s commitments under the Trade Facilitation Agreement, National Committee on Trade Facilitation and Framework Agreement on Facilitation of Cross-border Paperless Trade in Asia and the Pacific (CPTA).
Apart from trade facilitation, Kailash has also research experience in Technology transfer, e-commerce, Trade Policy Review (TPR) and trade & development etc. Kailash has also done research work in the India-UK FTA and India-EU FTA.
Silvia Chauke is currently a risk manager at the Zimbabwe Revenue Authority. She is passionate about Trade Facilitation and advocate for the smooth movement of goods in the international supply chain through the application of best practice and Customs Risk Management principles.
In 2021, Silvia was contracted as the Zimbabwe National Consultant to develop and conduct a Rapid Scan of Trade Facilitation Preparedness in times of Crisis in Zimbabwe under the UNCTAD - Trade Facilitation COVID-19 & Crisis Response Package.
Besides being an active member of the National Trade facilitation Committee (NTFC) and UNCTAD certified Zimbabwe NTFC Trainer, Silvia also spearheads the implementation of some of the WTO- TFA measures particularly Risk Management activities and the Authorised Economic Operator program.
Silvia possess a set of distinct knowledge of Customs legislation, processes and procedures, Customs Risk Management, Trade Facilitation and Supply Chain security coupled with my strong technical experience and educational background. Silvia has a positive attitude and values other people`s professional expertise in finding solutions to challenges faced in Trade Facilitation.
Carlos Chávez is Professor of Economics at Universidad de Talca, Chile, where he teaches introductory and advanced microeconomics, and advanced environmental and resource economics.
His research focuses on marine resource economics and environmental economics. Carlos is a senior research fellow at the Research Nucleus on Environmental and Natural Resource Economics (NENRE), an Environment for Development (EfD) center in Chile. He is also an associated researcher at the Interdisciplinary Center for Aquaculture Research (INCAR), an interdisciplinary research center for sustainable aquaculture in Chile.
He is Co-Editor of Environment and Development Economics, Associated Editor of Aquaculture Economics & Management, member of the National Council for Sustainability and Climate Change in Chile, and an elected member of the Executive Committee of The International Institute of Fisheries Economics & Trade (IIFET).
Dr Wei-nee began her career in the IT industry which spanned nearly 18 years; more than half of this tenure was in New Zealand and the remaining in Malaysia.
In December 2005, she made a career switch from the IT industry to environmental sustainability by focusing on the sustainable energy sector. She served the Ministry of Energy, Putrajaya for nearly 15 years of which the first 5 years were under a UNDP-GEF project (Malaysia Building Integrated Photovoltaic) and the remaining tenure in the Sustainable Energy Development Authority (SEDA).
Dr Wei-nee is a climate change advocator who is passionate about energy transition. Over the years, she has shared in many local and international platforms including the World Government Summit (Dubai), various UN roundtables, IEA workshops, and supported the Asian Development Bank in their Asia Clean Energy Forums.
Although much focus on energy transition has been in the electricity sector in the past decade, and the electricity sector has come a long way in achieving sustainable energy growth in the electricity mix, the O&G sector remains a neglected sector in the energy transition. In Sep 2020, Dr Wei-nee shifted her focus on energy transition for the O&G sector, by accepting the role of VP of New Energy Ventures in Hibiscus Petroleum Bhd.
Dr Wei-nee is a doting mum to her 2 daughters. Aside from advocating for a sustainable environment for future generations, her doctoral thesis was dedicated to increase women participation in top management by understanding how these women developed and managed their personal brand towards achieving career success. Today, she also serves as an advisor to the Malaysia Petroleum Resources Corporation, Malaysian PV Industry Association, and Sunway University’s PhD programme.

Chen Zhenyu, PhD in Geology, is currently a researcher of Institute of Mineral Resources, Chinese Academy of Geological Sciences, Director of Mineralogy Department. He is mainly engaged in the research of genetic mineralogy, prospecting mineralogy and process mineralogy of critical metal deposits. He is also the Secretary General of Mineralogy Committee of Geological Society of China, Secretary of New mineral and mineral nomenclature Committee of Mineralogy, Petrology and Geochemistry Society of China, Vice Chairman of the National Microbeam analysis Standardization Technical Committee. He is a member of the UN Secretary-General's Panel on Critical Energy Transition Minerals.
