Intergovernmental Forum on Mining

The Intergovernmental Forum on Mining, Minerals, Metals and Sustainable Development (IGF) supports governments to advance good mining governance for the betterment of communities, economies, and the environment.

The IGF works with more than 80 member governments to strengthen their legal and policy tools to promote good governance in mining. To support this work, UNCTAD hosts the IGF Annual General Meeting — an event that has grown to become the leading international policy forum on mining and sustainable development.
