UN Trade and Development at the COP31 United Nations Climate Change Conference

UNCTAD at the United Nations Climate Change Conference – COP31 banner

At COP31, UN Trade and Development (UNCTAD) will focus on turning climate pledges into action.

We will show how trade, investment and finance can drive green industrialization, helping developing countries create jobs, add value and compete in low-carbon industries.

We will champion metrics beyond GDP that measure what climate action should deliver: resilience, well-being and sustainable development.

COP31 in Antalya offers a real opportunity – to match climate commitments with industrial strategy for those who need it most

Acting Secretary-General, UN Trade and Development (UNCTAD)
