António Guterres (UN Secretary-General) and Rebeca Grynspan (UNCTAD) will present to the media second report of the Global Crisis Response Group – on the impact of the war in Ukraine on the food, fuel and finance sectors.

The brief will present an analysis of the current global crisis and a call for urgent measures to avert a larger global crisis, particularly in developing countries grappling with the COVID-19 pandemic and effects of climate change.

This report includes extensive contributions from UNCTAD and a strong call to support developing countries in this context of crisis - with trade and development at the center.
