Currently Additional Protocol 7 on Dispute Settlement Mechanism (DSM) is being negotiated among CEFTA Parties for establishment of modern and effective mechanism for resolving trade disputes.
The training on DSM is organized by UNCTAD in cooperation with Advisory Centre for WTO Law (ACWL) and Central European Free Trade Agreement (CEFTA) Secretariat and will shed light on the benefits of such a system, functionalities and working procedures in general.
The training on DSM is both for public and private sectors covering government institutions that deal with export and import regulations or contribute to laws, regulations, administrative decisions, and secondary regulations that have impact on international trade and will contribute to increasing awareness about the topic on DSM.
The training also aims at raising awareness of the private sector that engages in international trade on a potential channel for the solution to the trade obstacles they face
The training will be held in English.(Simultaneous translation will be provided from English into Romanian and vice versa.).
