The Spanish-speaking Network of TrainForTrade’s Port Management Program and the Port Authorities of Gijón and Valencia will organize a study trip for the Spanish-speaking network.
The activity will take place from July 15 to 23, 2024, and is intended for seven port administrators (including two women) from Argentina, Bolivia, Panama, Peru, and the Dominican Republic. The study tour includes meetings with port authority directors and guided port visits.
UNCTAD’s TrainForTrade Port Management Programme supports port communities in their quest for efficient and competitive port management. To increase trade flows and foster economic development, the programme creates port networks bringing together public, private and international entities. The aim is to share knowledge and expertise between port operators and strengthen talent management and human resources development in port communities.
