Key Issues

The Commission will provide an opportunity for member States and other stakeholders to discuss key trade and development issues related to building more resilient, sustainable and inclusive development.

In particular, the Commission will discuss the report of the Intergovernmental Group of Experts on Competition Law and Policy on its fifteenth session, along with the reports of the following expert meetings:

  1. Multi-year Expert Meeting on Transport, Trade Logistics and Trade Facilitation

  2. Multi-year Expert Meeting on Commodities and Development

  3. Multi-year Expert Meeting on Trade, Services and Development

  4. Multi-year Expert Meeting on Promoting Economic Integration and Cooperation

  5. Multi-year Expert Meeting on Enhancing the Enabling Environment at All Levels in Support of Inclusive and Sustainable Development

  6. Expert Meeting on Trade as a Tool for the Economic Empowerment of Women

The Commission will also discuss the outcomes of the progress report on promoting and strengthening synergies among the three pillars of UNCTAD work.
