The Government of the Republic of Indonesia will organize a virtual exhibition on the sidelines of the High-Level Political Forum (HLPF) 2021 under the auspices of the UN ECOSOC, from 9 to 11 July 2021, with the theme: “Creative Economy for Sustainable Development: Let’s Connect!”.
The goal of the event is to assist the creative economy sector to recover stronger from the devastation of COVID-19 pandemic. It is conducted in light of the commemoration of the International Year of Creative Economy for Sustainable Development 2021.
There will be a Side Event “Inclusive and Resilient Creative Economy for Sustainable Development” that will be held on 8 July 2021 at 7.30 to 9.00 am NY Time and a Virtual Exhibition “Creative Economy For Sustainable Development: Let’s Connect!” from 6-15 July, to showcase and connect the Penta-Helix related to the creative economy.
The event is held in partnership with Global Center of Excellence and International Cooperation for Creative Economy (G-CINC) launched in 2020 as mandated by the World Conference on Creative Economy in Bali 2018.
The main purpose is:
- Enabling discussion and sharing best practices for a more inclusive and resilient creative economy that can contribute to the sustainable development.
- Strengthening economic growth as well as expediting post-pandemic global recovery by promoting inclusive creative economy.
- Increasing multi stakeholder’s active participation and synergy in observing International Year of Creative Economy for Sustainable Development 2021.
