Trade facilitation stakeholders from the Organization of Economic Community of West African States (ECOWAS) are participating in UNCTAD’s e-Learning Course for National Trade Facilitation Committees*. As part of this training, ten webinars will be organized.
The eighth module is entitled “Technical Barriers to Trade and Sanitary and Phytosanitary measures in the context of Trade Facilitation”. After completing the eighth module, participants will understand better the WTO Agreement on Technical Barriers to Trade, the Agreement on the Application of Sanitary and Phytosanitary Measures and their relationship with the WTO Trade Facilitation Agreement.
The objective of the webinar is to provide trade facilitation stakeholders from the ECOWAS with an opportunity to discuss more in-depth the content of the eighth module of the UNCTAD e-Learning Course for NTFCs. Besides discussion on the content of the module, participants will also have the chance to share their experience on the best use of the platform.
