UNCTAD is organizing a training workshop on Cross-border Trade Rules and Procedures, and Entrepreneurship for women small-scale and informal cross-border traders in Mozambique. The workshop will be held in Maputo from 3 to 8 July 2023. The activities are part of the project Strengthening capacity of women cross border traders in Mozambique.
The training workshop aim to raise the awareness of small-scale and informal cross-border traders, particularly women, on trade rules, customs procedures, and traders' rights and obligations, as well as to strengthen their entrepreneurial skills.
Participants will include informal and small-scale cross-border traders, representatives from border authorities and cross-border trade associations.
The workshop will be held at the Hotel Tivoli Maputo in Maputo, Mozambique.
The language for the workshops is Portuguese.
