HMRC Project TLAL: Accelerate trade facilitation

The tool from UN Trade and Development helps nearly 30 countries better monitor, coordinate and fast-track actions to reduce the time and cost of trade.

The funding will help further capacity-building, digitalization and reduce red tape in Egypt, where UNCTAD and its partners provide trade facilitation support.

Training equips 85 officials from 15 countries with skills to become trade facilitation ambassadors and influencers in their own countries, helping accelerate much-needed reforms.

Stronger capacity among officials will help eight countries in the region better coordinate and fast-track efforts to ease international trade.

The Reform Tracker helps countries monitor, coordinate and fast-track actions to make cross-border trade easier, faster and cheaper.

The funding extends an ongoing partnership that has supported over 25 countries to expedite the movement of goods and strengthen public-private collaboration.
