UNCTAD opens national workshop in Peru for university professors on competition and consumer protection law enforcement issues

UNCTAD’s COMPAL competition law programme, in association with the University Antonio Gullermo Urrelo (UPAGU) and the Peruvian Competition Authority (INDECOPI), held the first edition of a workshop on competition and consumer laws for university professors in Cajamarca, in the north of Peru from 7 to 11 May 2014.

UNCTAD, through the COMPAL programme, organised two advanced workshops for competition case handlers of Colombian and Peruvian competition authorities between 18 and 23 April 2013. The workshops were delivered by Prof. Ariel Ezrachi (Director of the OXFORD Competition Policy Centre), Timothy Hughes (Attorney at the US Federal Trade Commission) and Pierre Horna (Officer-in-charge of the COMPAL Programme of UNCTAD).
