Fanta Kaba Jawara is a lawyer and an entrepreneur currently working at Ida D Drameh & Associates, one of the leading legal firms in The Gambia, with keen interest in sustainable development, entrepreneurship, business and investment. She was called to the Bar of the Supreme Court of The Gambia in February 2021. She has taken part in international moot court competitions and now provides guidance and coaching to upcoming mooters and law students.
Fanta is the owner and founder of a Bakery in The Gambia called KJ Cupcakes. It has been in existence for over 4 years and prides itself with Quality, High-Standard and Aesthetics. She also organises events for kids to allow them to explore their passion and talents, to be expressive, creative and outspoken. Fanta has been honored to be interviewed by the BBC about business in The Gambia as a young female entrepreneur.
She is also a member of the Tax Advisory Committee created under the Ministry of Finance of The Gambia and is the Coordinator for the Youth Action Hub Gambia.
