The Trade Facilitation Conference will be convened on 4-5 March 2025, in Manila, the Philippines. 

The Conference will explore how technology can be used to strengthen and synergize ADB Developing Member Countries’ capacity to facilitate legitimate trade and foster economic cooperation. Specifically, the Conference aims to: 

  • raise awareness and enhance understanding of the use of innovation and technologies in greening supply chain and implementing trade facilitation reforms; 
  • encourage knowledge sharing and exchange of best practices among participating countries on their experiences, challenges, and lessons learned in integrating technologies into cross-border trade operations; and 
  • create a platform of trade facilitation stakeholders, including government officials, international organizations, development partners, technology service providers and private sector entities for further discussion on identifying technologies useful for short, medium and longer terms. 

The conference will invite more than 60 government officials, international organizations and private service providers to facilitate the exchange of views and experiences on the integration of advanced technologies into trade facilitation measures.
