Briefing for Ambassadors of landlocked developing countries (LLDCs)

The briefing will be organized by UNCTAD's Division for Africa, LDCs and Special Programmes and will bring together the UN Ambassadors of LLDCs based in New York and Geneva.

The main objectives of the briefing are to inform LLDC Ambassadors about:

• The forthcoming UNCTAD 15 Conference to be held in Barbados in 2021 and substantive (broad) issues of interest to LLDCs;
• UNCTAD’s new Productive Capacities Index (PCI), which will provide LLDCs with a new tool to benchmark their development performance, and
• UNCTAD’s ongoing activities in support of LLDCs.
