The Ministry of Industry, Trade and Supply (MoITS) of Jordan and the E-Commerce and Digital Economy Branch of UN Trade and Development (UNCTAD) are organizing a capacity-building workshop on the use of UNCTAD’s eTrade Reform Tracker on 7-8 October 2025, in Amman.
The workshop is intended for members of the Jordan’s National E-Commerce Task Force and relevant implementing agencies. It aims to introduce participants to the eTrade Reform Tracker – a new digital tool designed by UNCTAD to help partner countries coordinate and monitor the implementation of eTrade Readiness Assessments (eT Readies) and national E-commerce Strategies.
In Jordan, the eTRT is expected to support and facilitate the implementation of the National E-Commerce Strategy (2023-2033), adopted in June 2023, under the leadership of the Ministry of Industry, Trade and Supply (MoITS) of Jordan, with technical support from UNCTAD.
Funding for this workshop is provided by the GIZ-implemented Trade for Employment (T4E) project, on behalf of the German Federal Ministry of Economic Development and Cooperation (BMZ) and the Kingdom of the Netherlands.
