UN Trade and Development (UNCTAD) and the UN Economic and Social Commission for Western Asia (ESCWA) will host online the Closing Ceremony of the Arabic edition of the course "The Use of Blockchain in Trade Facilitation” on 3 December 2025, from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM (CET).
The 4-week course explored the concept of blockchain and raised awareness on the possibilities and obstacles associated with using such a technology in trade facilitation. Additionally, it provided a practical understanding for decision-makers and practitioners about the advantages, conditions and adequate environment needed to ensure the successful implementation of blockchain technology.
The event is open to all stakeholders who have previously registered for the course. Registrations can be done here.
At the event, key insights gained from the course and participants' results will be shared. Additionally, blockchain experts from both the government and private sector will deliver their concluding thoughts. The session will offer participants the chance to address any questions they may have about the course.
