CSTD ten-year review of WSIS: African Perspective

​As part of the mandate of the Commission on Science and Technology for Development (CSTD) of conducting a ten-year review of the progress made in the implementation of the World Summit on the Information Society (WSIS) outcomes, UNCTAD in its capacity as the CSTD Secretariat, will hold a briefing session on the review during the 3rd African Internet Governance Forum (10-12 July 2014).

This session is part of the open process of collecting inputs from the African region.

The briefing will be held on Friday, 11 July 2014, at 11.00 a.m in the Nicon Luxury Hotel in Abuja, Nigeria and will be chaired by Dr. Omobola Johnson, Supervising Honourable Minister of Science and Technology, Honourable Minister of Communication Technology of Nigeria, and Chair of the 18th session of the CSTD.
