From 26 to 31 May 2014, the 27 middle managers from the port communities of Tema and Takoradi (Ghana) who are enrolled in the UNCTAD TrainForTrade Port Training Programme will participate in the third of eight training modules.

This training module examines the different services ports provide to ships. The participants will learn about how the different operators within a port must cooperate in order to improve the quality of the services offered and reduce the overall costs. Senior managers from the ports of Tema and Takoradi who have been trained as instructors by UNCTAD will lead the training. They will be assisted by a senior manager from Drogheda Port Company, a port partner of the programme.
