This is the 1st Workshop for the Competition and Consumer Affairs Authority of Bhutan.
The Royal Government of Bhutan adopted the National Competition Policy (NCP) in 2020, while the Consumer Protection Act of Bhutan (CPA) dates to 2012. The Office of Consumer Protection (OCP) is responsible for implementing the NCP being renamed as Competition and Consumer Affairs Authority, now having competence in both competition and consumer protection.
UNCTAD is organizing a series of workshops to assist the Competition and Consumer Affairs Authority of Bhutan in this newly created mandate.
Please note, this is a closed meeting.
