The high-level virtual event provides a platform for the representatives from member states, United Nations agencies and other stakeholders to identify policies, strategies and international support measures that are needed to boost productive capacities to support an inclusive process of structural transformation in the least developed countries (LDCs) to enable them to reach “graduation with momentum”.
In particular, the event aims to provide a dialogue space for New York and Geneva-based delegates to explore how the new programme of action for the LDCs can contribute to accelerating structural transformation through the expansion of LDCs' productive capacities, in line with the 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development.
