Zoom

In collaboration with the Ministry of Trade and Industry of Côte d'Ivoire, UNCTAD is organizing the virtual launch of the Côte d’Ivoire e-Trade Readiness Assessment (eT Ready).

The event will benefit from the presence of several high-level government authorities and eTrade for all partners’ representatives, including the Ministers of Trade and Industry and of the Digital Economy and the Post of Côte d’Ivoire, as well as UNCTAD Acting Secretary-General and UPU Deputy Director General.

The event will present the main findings of the report, covering the seven policy areas that are most relevant for e-commerce development. It will offer also a platform for key national stakeholders and partners to discuss the digital transformation of Côte d’Ivoire and prepare a roadmap for the implementation of the eT Ready policy recommendations.

Over the past four years, UNCTAD has assisted 25 least developed countries and two developing countries to assess their digital readiness in seven areas that are considered critical for e-commerce development.

The Assessment of Côte d’Ivoire was conducted in close collaboration with three eTrade for all partners, namely the International Trade Center (ITC), Universal Postal Union (UPU) and Consumers International.
