In the context of growing protectionist trends in recent years and COVID-19-induced transport and trade restrictions, the International Chamber of Shipping (ICS) has commissioned a study to assess such policies and measures currently being implemented, which may be preventing national economies from reaping the full benefits of access to efficient maritime transport services. The webinar, which will take place via Zoom, will discuss the study’s main conclusions and their implications for developing countries’ maritime transport and trade.
