This will be the second event in São Tomé e Príncipe organized within the framework of the EU-funded project to assist in the implementation of the WTO Trade Facilitation Agreement in three ECCAS countries.
The event will address São Tomé e Príncipe National Trade Facilitation Committee members. The objectives are to:
- Deliver Module 2 of UNCTAD's Empowerment Program for the potential Members of the National Trade Facilitation Committee (NTFC);
- Increase São Tomé e Príncipe NTFC members' understanding on how to measure trade facilitation with the help of key performance indicators;
- Improve São Tomé e Príncipe NTFC members' knowledge on the implications of certain provision of the World Trade Organization (WTO) Trade Facilitation Agreement.
