This will be the third event in Zimbabwe organized within the framework of the UK-funded project to assist in the implementation of the WTO Trade Facilitation Agreement.
The event will address Zimbabwe National Trade Facilitation Committee members. The objectives are to:
- Present the key benefits for Zimbabwe of the implementation of the WTO Trade Facilitation Agreement at the High Level Event on Tuesday 25 July 2017.
- Deliver Module 2 of UNCTAD's Empowerment Program for the Members of the Zimbabwe National Trade Facilitation Committee (NTFC);
- Increase Zimbabwe NTFC members' understanding on how to measure trade facilitation with the help of key performance indicators;
- Improve Zimbabwe NTFC members' knowledge on the implications of certain provision of the World Trade Organization (WTO) Trade Facilitation Agreement;
- Validate UNCTAD Implementation Plan for Trade Facilitation for Zimbabwe.
