Pursuant to article 57, paragraph 3, of the International Cocoa Agreement 2010, I have the honour to convene a meeting of Governments on whose behalf instruments of ratification, acceptance, approval or accession, or notifications of provisional application, have been deposited, to decide whether to put the Agreement into force definitively or provisionally among themselves, in whole or in part, on such date as they may determine, or to adopt any other arrangement as they may deem necessary.
Following consultations with the Executive Director of the International Cocoa Organization, the meeting will open at 9.30 a.m. on 19 September 2012 at Bloomsbury House, 2-3 Bloomsbury Square, London WC1A 2RL, United Kingdom.
The Governments and intergovernmental organizations entitled to participate in the decision are those on whose behalf instruments of ratification, acceptance, approval or accession, or notifications of provisional application, have been deposited with the Secretary-General of the United Nations before 19 September 2012.
Governments and intergovernmental organizations that have not deposited the required instruments before 19 September 2012 are entitled to participate in the meeting as observers.
