The Joint Advisory Group will examine the activities of the International Trade Centre and make recommendations to the Trade and Development Board of UNCTAD and the Committee on Trade and Development of the World Trade Organization.
Discussions will focus on the activities of the International Trade Centre in 2020 as contained in its Annual Report 2020 and on activities and achievements during the first half of 2021.
The Group will also discuss the annual evaluation synthesis report of the International Trade Centre as well as ITC's new Strategic Plan 2022-25.
Participation
Geneva based representatives from Governments of member States of UNCTAD and members of the World Trade Organization are welcome to participate in person in Room XIX at the Palais des Nations and as per the COVID-19 related safety measures that will be in place. It is recommended that the participation is limited to one representative per delegation and at the level of Ambassador or senior official.
The session is open to United Nations specialized agencies and bodies and to other intergovernmental organizations with observer status, as well as to relevant non-governmental organizations.
Logistics
The session will take place in hybrid format with interpretation available in three languages (English, French and Spanish). The session will open at 10 a.m. in room XIX at the Palais des Nations, Geneva.

Registration to the fifty-fifth annual session of the Joint Advisory Group, whether attending in person or virtually, is mandatory and should be completed by 26 October 2021.
