This will be the second event in Nigeria of the UNCTAD Empowerment Programme for National Trade Facilitation Committees organized within the framework of the Transparent Trade Procedures in the region of the Economic Community of West African project funded by the German Federal Ministry for Economic Cooperation and Development (BMZ), represented by Deutsche Gesellschaft für Internationale Zusammenarbeit (GIZ).
The event will address the members of the Trade Facilitation Committee of Nigeria. The objectives are:
- Increase Nigeria NTFC members' understanding on specific trade facilitation measures;
- Improve Nigeria NTFC members' project management skills such as building an effective action plan as well as evaluation and monitoring mechanisms;
- Increase Nigeria NTFC members' understanding on trade facilitation benefits and global supply chain management.
