The national launch of the eTrade Readiness Assessment (eT Ready) of Mauritania will allow UNCTAD, in collaboration with the Ministry of Digital Transformation, Innovation and Modernization of the Administration, to present the results of the diagnostic report to senior government officials, private sector representatives, academics, and development partners.
The event will provide an opportunity for information exchange among participants on ongoing digital-related initiatives, areas of potential synergy as well as opportunities for technical and financial support for the implementation of the priority recommendations of Mauritania’s eT Ready.
The Minister of Digital Transformation, Innovation and Modernization of the Administration, the UN Resident Coordinator in Mauritania and the Ambassador of Germany in Mauritania will participate in the national launch.
Funding for the Mauritania eT Ready was provided by the E-commerce and Digital Economy Programme Core Donors (Germany, Switzerland, Sweden, and The Netherlands).
