As economic activities expand in the oceans, low-altitude airspace and outer space, these environments are increasingly pushing the frontier of future economic growth. The ocean economy encompasses key sectors including marine renewable energy, marine equipment manufacturing, port and shipping logistics, marine biotechnology, while the low-altitude and out space economy has seen rapid growth in aerospace industries, satellite applications and space technologies.

This session will bring together investors, industry leaders, research organizations and policymakers to explore both investment opportunities and the geopolitical and environmental risks of the economic exploration of oceans and space. Discussions will focus on technological innovation, infrastructure financing, and the cooperation models needed for environmental protection and the equitable management of shared public goods.
