The session will contribute to address the social dimension of trade and how it can be harnessed, through effective facilitation, to improve decent work outcomes for women and men in supply chains.
It will:
- Provide an overview of the key global trends on responsible business conduct and due diligence.
- Outline the different yet complementary roles of government, employers and workers to promote responsible business conduct and sustain positive impacts.
- Address emerging areas of opportunities and challenges to promote decent work in the transport sector.
Present practical tools and approaches to foster responsible business conduct in supply chains, including in the transport.
The session will provide an overview of the key global trends on responsible business conduct and due diligence.
