Under the framework of the EU-funded project to assist in the implementation of the WTO Trade Facilitation Agreement in three ECCAS countries, UNCTAD is organizing a Regional Training of Trainers Module as part of UNCTAD Empowerment Programme for the National Trade Facilitation Committees.
The event address selected members of the National Trade Facilitation Committees of Cameroun, Gabon and São Tomé e Principe.
The event will help countries to finalize their National Trade Facilitation Roadmaps and identify which activities could be addressed regionally. They will also learned key concept of training and communication skills that will be useful in the context of training new members of the Committees.
This event is organized back-to-back to the African Forum for National Trade Facilitation in order to provide members of the National Trade Facilitation Committees with the opportunity to participate in the Forum as well.
