Key Issues

Virtual Institute economist, Cristian Ugarte, will lead a workshop on the empirics of trade using the STATA® data analysis and statistical software for academics of affiliate member, the North-West University (NWU), 22-25 April.

Based on the gravity model, the course will introduce tools, methods and relevant datasets for the analysis of bilateral trade. A hands-on exercise on trade and migration will allow participants to put their new skills to the test.
