The Spanish-Speaking Network of UNCTAD’s TrainForTrade Port Management Programme, together with the Directorate General of Maritime, River, and Lake Interests and Merchant Marine of the Ministry of Defense, and Puerto Jennefer, are organizing the delivery of Module 2: "The Organization of a Port System" of the Modern Port Management course in Bolivia. The training will take place from 9 to 11 June 2025 at Puerto Quijarro for 23 port managers (including 2 women) from Bolivia’s port communities, as part of the 5th cohort.
The module will be delivered by an expert from the National Port Authority of Peru.
The Port Management Program provides technical assistance, training, research and analysis on port issues, including indicators, and organizes regional port meetings.
