The Spanish-Speaking Network of the TrainForTrade Port Management Programme of UNCTAD is organizing the delivery of Module 4 on "Challenges of Sustainable Ports" of the Modern Port Management Course, in collaboration with the General Directorate of Maritime, River, Lake, and Merchant Marine Interests of the Ministry of Defense of Bolivia and Puerto Jennefer.
The training will take place from April 22nd to 25th and is aimed at the 4th promotion, consisting of 25 port administrators (2 women) from the country's port community.
The training will be conducted by an expert from TISUR (Peru), another expert from the Port Authority of Gijón (Spain), and a port expert from Dock Sud (Argentina).
The Port Management Programme carries out technical assistance activities, training, research, and analysis on port issues, including indicators, and organizes regional port meetings.
