Training for government officials on risk perception, risk mitigation and nation branding for sustainable investment

COMESA AND UNCTAD cooperate permanently on issues related to international investment for sustainable development. To date, COMESA member countries have engaged in improving their business environment through new legislation and better investment facilitation. However, the expected flows of investment do not materialize mostly because of high-risk perception, which in many cases does not correspond with reality. There are risk mitigation tools available that can help investment promotion agencies. This webinar presents two of them: Political Risk Insurance and Nation Branding.
