UNCTAD organized this training programme in cooperation with the AfCFTA Secretariat for AfCFTA member States and States Parties participating in the negotiations of the AfCFTA Competition Protocol to familiarize them with competition law and policy.
The programme benefits from the knowledge and experiences of eminent experts, former and current competition authority heads as well as UNCTAD and UNECA staff members.
The programme will help negotiators better understand the importance of competition law and policy for regional integration in Africa.
