This will be the fourth workshop of the UNCTAD Empowerment Programme for National Trade Facilitation Committees (NTFCs) organized in Nigeria under the “Transparent Trade Procedures in the region of the Economic Community of West African States (ECOWAS)” project funded by the German Federal Ministry for Economic Cooperation and Development (BMZ), represented by Deutsche Gesellschaft für Internationale Zusammenarbeit (GIZ).
The event will address the members of the Nigeria’s Trade Facilitation Committee.
The objectives are:
- To train selected members of Nigeria Trade Facilitation Committee as trainers;
- To draft a knowledge transfer strategy for new NTFC members;
- To launch Nigeria National Trade Facilitation Roadmap.
This event constitutes Module 4 of UNCTAD Empowerment Program in Nigeria. The Program is to empower Nigeria NTFC implement, in a coordinated manner, trade facilitation reforms, including the provisions of the Agreement on Trade Facilitation of the World Trade Organization.
