TrainForTrade will organize the UNCTAD Advisory Group 11 (AG 11): Ad Hoc Expert Meeting on "Computerization and Technological Solutions in Ports" to be held from 27-28 June at the Palais des Nations in Geneva. Representatives from Irish Aid, Dublin Port Company, Port of Cork Company, Port of Valencia, and the Port of Marseille Fos, will take part in the AG 11 and contribute through presentations and exchanges in the existing structure of Sub-Module 5c of the Modern Port Management Course of the UNCTAD Port Management Programme. The revised training package will include topics on: Cyber Security, Digitalization, Robotization, Big Data and Analytics, among others.
The meeting will be moderated by Mark Assaf and Geneviève Féraud, with the support of a TrainForTrade expert.
Through discussions and recommendations, the final product of the AG 11 is envisaged to be the updated outline of the structure of Sub-Module 5c.
