A Consultative Group meeting on the core SDG indicators took place virtually on 23 and 24 March 2021. The meeting was convened by UNCTAD with a view to deliberate on possible updates to the core SDG indicators based on findings from GCI case studies, feedback from beneficiary countries and international trends and developments in this area. Representatives of key stakeholders in the area of sustainability/SDG reporting, UN agencies working in this area, beneficiary countries of the Development Account Project 1819H Development Account project titled Enabling policy frameworks for enterprise sustainability and SDG reporting in Africa and Latin America, and experts involved in the preparation of GCI case studies participated in the discussions.
