The "UNCTAD MENA Programme on Regional Economic Integration through the adoption of Competition and Consumer Protection Policies – organized STUDY VISITS to the French Competition Authority” in English language for Middle East Countries.
The study visits will take place in Paris, France from 10-12 July 2017. 9 participants from Middle East Countries: Palestine, Lebanon and Jordan will attend the study visits.
The UNCTAD MENA Programme STUDY VISITS will focus on addressing the following topics: Overview and Structure of the Authority/European Cooperation Mechanisms (ECN), Advisory Function, Investigation Techniques, Leniency as a Detection Tool, The Role of Economic Analysis, The conduct of a case of abuse of dominance and The UNCTAD MENA Programme - Overview of the programme and structure of the web platform.
