UNCTAD Virtual Institute Study Tour for the University of Cheikh Anta Diop

The study tour is organized by theUNCTAD Virtual Institute (Vi, DGDS) at the request of Senegalese University ofCheikh Anta Diop. During one week, students will undergo tailored training ontrade and development delivered by UNCTAD’s divisions and programmes, the WTO,ITC and the Permanent Mission of Senegal.

The programme includes sessions on the foreigndirect investment, investment in Africa, sustainable development goals,extractive industries, food security, transport logistics and maritimetransport, multilateral trade negotiations, trade policy of Senegal, and WTOdispute settlement. The study tour will also offer a simulation exercise on FDIand a hands-on session on ITC’s market research tools and programme on non-tariffmeasures.
